AI Chatbot: These Torrents Could Outperform Bitcoin in 2024

The popular AI chatbot lists several alternatives that could outperform BTC in 2024.

Bitcoin has started 2024 on an impressive note, not only in terms of price action, but also in terms of global adoption following the approval of nearly 12 spot BTC ETFs in the United States.Bitcoin Miner

With the fourth halving expected to happen in about two months, a very positive year is expected for the major cryptocurrency, with some forecasts suggesting a price as high as $150,000, which would mean a three-fold spike from this point onwards.

However, once Bitcoin starts to rise, so will some of the torrents. After asking ChatGPT for their opinion, we decided to head over to one of its main competitors, Perplexity, to see an alternative view on the best torrents from AI chatbots.

ETH, SOL, AVAX, etc.

Perplexity singled out 6 torrents that could be even more impressive in 2024. The first is the largest of the torrents, ETH, which actually has a quieter performance in 2023, with a more modest increase of 83%. However, as the blockchain behind it remains the most used in DeFi, NFT, and other parts of the digital asset industry, the AI chatbot predicts that this could push up the native token this year.

Additionally, the Ether ecosystem is expecting more updates and there are a number of second-layer networks aiming to reduce transaction costs while increasing transaction speeds.ETChash Miner

Next on the list are Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX), Cardano (ADA), Chainlink (LINK) and Polkadot (DOT). SOL performs well in 2023, at least the best among large-cap cryptocurrencies.

Solana became a real competitor to ethereum and is now home to many DeFi and NFT projects as well as viral meme coins. However, the network is still experiencing some problems, but that doesn’t seem to be affecting the price of SOL.

Avalanche, Cardano and Polkadot are also targeting Ether market share, while Chainlink, a decentralized network of prognosticators, has signed a number of impressive partnerships over the past year or so and has entered the growing world of RWA. Its native token recently spiked above $20, its highest point in years, which could be a sign that a price increase is imminent.

Perplexity says, “These torrents are recognized for a variety of features such as dominating the DeFi ecosystem, transitioning to more scalable algorithms, high throughput, fast transaction speeds, and a vibrant DeFi and NFT ecosystem.”

Who is performing the best? The answer remains the same

When asked about the best performing cryptocurrencies in 2024, ChatGPT’s competitors didn’t mention Bitcoin, but actually gave the same answer as ETH, SOL, DOT, LINK, ADA and AVAX.

It outlined the growing Total Value Locked (TVL) in ecosystems such as Ether and Solana, and said that both ecosystems are expected to have a significant year as they “continue to be key players in the blockchain space.”

Perplexity named AVAX as the dark horse in the cottage coin race, as it has already surpassed DOT and LINK in terms of market capitalization.

Nonetheless, the popular AI chatbot warns that investing in cryptocurrencies is a rather risky business given their volatility and the lack of proper regulation in many countries.
